Southern Child Welfare Training Partnership University of Wisconsin - Madison
Information about the UW Partnership Training Center

Welcome to the UW Partnership Training Center. We have roughly 4,000 square feet of space designed for high tech presentations, collaborative learning and functional meeting space. The rooms are available for use by the Department of Children and Families, UW Madison and county human services for meetings or training. The training and conference rooms are located directly across the hall from the Southern Child Welfare Partnership offices.

We designed the space with maximum usability, convenience for speakers and comfort for participants in mind. The tables are on wheels so that they can be moved into a variety of configurations. The chairs are comfortable, adjustable and flexible. Because we cater food for our events, we made sure a kitchen and serving space were available for caterers or to bring in your own food. In Suite 112, the main training room, we have state of the art built in audio visual equipment with an easy to use control panel for switching between a PowerPoint presentation and a clip on a DVD.

Since its opening in April 2006, the space has been utilized for our training events as well as by the UW Madison School of Human Ecology, the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families, UW Madison School of Social Work, Dane County Department of Health and Family Services and UW Madison Office of Corporate Relations.
